I’m always on the look out for great skin care. Whether it be spot zapping face masks, nourishing night oils or hardworking serums, there’s nothing I love more than discovering a true beauty gem. And let me tell you now, September has been an absolute corker…
Created by Dr Nicholas Perricone (all round skincare guru and owner of premium brand Perricone MD) Superis a vibrant, fresh and accessible range based around the concept of super foods. Since getting my hands on a bottle of First Blush Brightening Serum (containing the antioxidant found in melons: Carotenoids) a couple of weeks ago, I’ve been thoroughly hooked on the smooth texture and generous glow it effortlessly gives the skin. Simply massage a few drops onto the face, follow with a light layer of daily moisturiser and ta-dah! A perfectly prepped complexion providing the ideal base for flawless make up application.
Promising to gradually reduce the appearance of discolouration, this lightly pink toned serum swiftly absorbs into the skin, making it an ideal treatment for those with time pressed morning routines. Whilst the quirky smell on application is far from my favourite thing in the world (be warned!), the texture is both wonderfully light and refreshing as well as being completely free from any trace of stickiness or grease. Leaving the complexion noticeably softer, tighter and brighter, this is a brilliant option for anyone who doesn’t like wearing foundation but still wants to quickly improve the overall look of their skin. Priced at £35/$48 for a 30ml glass bottle, this silicone free formula is a great investment for those seeking additional results to their current skincare regime.
SUITABLE FOR: Dry, Oily and Combination skin.
AVAILABLE: Boots.com (£35), Sephora.com ($48)
BEST SUITED TO: those who tend to wear a very light base or no foundation at all.
